Garrett and Jake Swenson, part of the hip-hop collective Brother Buffalo, proudly embrace their Eyak heritage. Having familial connections to Cordova, Alaska, the duo spent their formative years in Anchorage. The name “Brother Buffalo” is a heartfelt tribute to their middle brother, Kyler, who departed in 2011.
